The Thomas MacDonagh Museum contains a bright, modern gallery space, officially called An Danlann. This space provides an affordable opportunity for existing and new artists to connect with their audience throughout the year.
The first event in An Danlann was the official opening of the Museum on May 3rd, 2013. This exhibition showcased the work of well known artists of Cloughjordan and its Parish.
The second exhibition was put on by local wood sculptors. Working with bog oak and bog ash the contributors put on an inspiring display of creative and imaginative pieces.
Our aim at the Thomas MacDonagh Museum is to provide a multifunctional space suitable for exhibitions, launches, meetings, displays and much more.
